Week 1
We arrived to Sweden with half of the group, the other half
had a delayed in Madrid because there was national strike and they closed the
airport for some hours… But after that they arrived safe to Sweden.
In Sweden we met some guys from the local church
(Finish/Sweden Pentecostal Church) in Boras and we hang out with them for
pretty much all week. They have a service in finish (Finland), that it was kind
of conservative compare to an American Pentecostal service, but that is part of
learning how churches are in different parts of the world, by the way I think
there is only one church of Christ but different manifestation of that church.
They also just started a service in Swedish and we also were
part of 2 of them, most of the people that come to this service are youth and
young adults, in one of them I had the opportunity to teach and it was a great
experience, God moved in an awesome way that night, we could see the Spirit of
God touching their hearts bringing healing to some areas of their lives. There
is so much hunger for God, we found that a lot of people struggle with
depression and suicide thoughts and it saw how God brought hope, joy and
freedom to this areas.
All this freedom is awesome but to be honest what I value
more is the relationships that we made in this city, I think God wanted us to
connect with this guys and not only share for a couple of days together but to
walk this journey together even through the distance.
Week 2
We got a van to drive to Norway from a guy from Sweden, this
was a huge blessing, God provided through this person and we got to safe money
that we didn´t have. We still are
raising support for some of the expenses here but God has been so faithful and
provide meals and places to stay without having to pay, this is amazing!
In Norway we stayed at a YWAM base in Grimerud. We had the privilege
of been part of a ministry called ¨Restore 24-7¨ this is a prayer and worship
room that is open all the time just like IHOP. It was a blessing to be there
and also lead in worship, I´m so thankful to God for that opportunity.
We also served in two churches a Lutheran church and an
African church, I got to teach in the African church, and they translated my
message to a dialect from Congo, which was so cool! At the end of the service
in the ministry time God healed a guy´s back from a pain that he had for a long
time.
After that I got sick… I got a cold and I’m still recovering
from that, but God is so good that we are so excited to see what is going to
happen next!
